The Dera Bassi Industrial Focal Point Association (DBIFPA) was established in 1999–2000 and registered under the Societies Act during the same period. The founding leadership comprised Mr. Atul Sehgal as President, Mr. R.C. Kalia as General Secretary, and Mr. Surinder Mittal as Vice President.
Over the years, the Association has been guided by dynamic leadership, with Mr. Ashwani Soni, followed by Mr. Rakesh Bhargava, and later Mr. Virender Malhotra serving as Presidents. The Association has also been actively supported by dedicated members such as Mr. Aashish Kaura, Mr. Vikas Mehta, and Mr. Harsh Kejriwal, who have significantly contributed to its growth and functioning.

In 2019, a parallel body, the DBIFPA Infrastructure Development Association (SPV), was established under the leadership of Mr. Nirdosh Bali as President, Mr. Ashish Kaura as General Secretary, and Mr. Varinder Malhotra as Vice President. This body undertook extensive infrastructure development initiatives in collaboration with PSIEC, including the construction and upgradation of roads, sewerage systems, water supply pipelines, and storm water drainage networks. A major milestone during this period was the commencement of the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at the Dera Bassi Industrial Focal Point.
